The Road to Success — 成功之路
1Once upon a time, there was a young
apprentice named Max who worked in a
lodge as a secretarial assistant. His
job was to
assist the Lodge's director in
various tasks, including handling phone calls, typing memos, and scheduling meetings. Max was diligent and hardworking, but he felt that his work was not recognized by the director, who seemed to
prefer the company of his cronies.

call from a client who was complaining about the Lodge's service. The client demanded a callback
pay and threatened to take their business elsewhere. Max was determined to make things
right and began to research the best way to handle the situation.

3He learned that a
linear function could be used to
calculate the client's callback
pay and that a
rectangular prism could be used to
represent the Lodge's service. Max also realized that a
trinomial could be used to describe the Lodge's poor service and that
courtship could be applied to the client's demand for callback pay.

4Max then realized that an
implication could be drawn from this situation, which was that Lodge needed to
improve its service and
capital allowances should be made
available to do so. He suggested this idea to the director and the director was persuaded.

5With the Lodge's service improved, business began to flourish. Max received praise and

rectangular prisms, and trinomials, he could help the Lodge
prosper and gain more business.
